Service Details

Sports Massage isn't just for professional athletes—it is targeted, structural bodywork designed to release deep muscular tension, restore joint mobility, and accelerate recovery. By combining targeted trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and passive stretching, we help your body move freely and without pain.

You don't need to be training for a marathon to benefit from this session. It is designed for anyone dealing with high physical demand or stubborn, deep-seated muscle tightness:

  • Active Individuals & Athletes: Recover faster between gym sessions, running, cycling, or intense training by clearing muscular fatigue and micro-tension.
  • Repetitive Strain & Overuse: Chronic tightness from repetitive movements at work, heavy lifting, or prolonged physical labor.
  • Restricted Range of Motion: Feeling "locked up" in the hips, shoulders, lower back, or ankles during workouts or daily tasks.
  • Injury Prevention & Maintenance: Identifying and releasing tight kinetic chains before they turn into actual muscle strains, spasms, or joint compensation.

We avoid mindless, agonizing pressure for the sake of it. Pain does not equal progress; working with your nervous system yields far better long-term structural results:

  • Targeted Deep Tissue & Trigger Point Therapy: We locate specific adhesions ("knots") and apply precise, sustained pressure to reset muscle tone.
  • Myofascial Release & Assisted Stretching: We integrate dynamic stretching and fascia work to restore elasticity to restricted tissues and improve mobility.
  • Certified Expertise: Formally trained in Sports Massage and certified in Holistic Massage therapy, we combine anatomical precision with functional movement assessment to ensure safe and effective treatment.

  • The "Good Hurt" Threshold: You will feel deep, constructive pressure on restricted areas, but it should never cross into unbearable pain that makes you guard or tense up. We maintain active communication throughout the session to adjust depth.
  • Post-Massage Soreness: Mild tenderness or a "worked-out" feeling in the treated muscles for 24–48 hours is completely normal as the tissue heals and adapts.
  • Post-Massage Bruising: If you have "sensitive skin" that you know is easily bruised, please let us know so we can adjust the pressure in the areas of high sensitivity (usually legs).
  • Consistency Wins: Trying to fix months of intense training or heavy strain in a single 60-minute session will only leave you bruised. Steady, progressive work over multiple sessions gets lasting results without destroying your tissue.

  • Acute Strain / High Training Phase: 1 session per week for 2–3 weeks to clear accumulated fatigue and restore baseline muscle length.
  • Maintenance & Performance: Every 3–4 weeks to prevent tightness from building back up and keep your body performing at its peak. Ideally this should align with your scheduled "easy training weeks" blocks where you can afford to have a massage not train the same day.
  • Event Preparation: Book a session 2–3 days before a major athletic event (light-to-moderate flush out) or 24–48 hours after for optimal recovery.

  • 60 min (Targeted Area): Ideal for focusing intensely on 1 or 2 specific problem zones (e.g., legs and hips for runners, or upper back and shoulders for lifters/desk workers).
  • 90 min (Full Body Performance): Our recommended duration. Allows full-body coverage to address both the pain area and the surrounding compensating muscle groups, plus stretching.
  • 120 min (The Deep Reset): Ample time for comprehensive full-body physical and mental recovery, combining deep tissue work, stretching, and targeted treatments like scar therapy or cupping.

Great athletic massage for triathletes/marathon runners I currently live in the UK and was in Cyprus for a holiday and train for my upcoming marathons/triathlons. As I was returning home to run the Manchester Marathon, I wanted a sports massage a few days before my flight and the race. That’s when I visited Pavel at INTUNE. The experience was excellent from start to finish. Before the session, Pavel took the time to discuss my training, upcoming race, and the type of massage that would best support my preparation for marathon day. During the treatment, he explained everything he was doing and made sure I was comfortable throughout. The massage itself was fantastic and left me feeling well-prepared for the race. Pavel’s knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. I would highly recommend INTUNE to anyone looking for a high-quality sports massage. I will definitely be returning when I’m back in Cyprus for future holidays and training for upcoming triathlons /marathons.

Great massage therapy experience, very helpful in my recovery after cycling! Pavel is a true professional, asking for details about my activities and condition beforehand, and taking care to create a peaceful ambience to help me relax during the sessions. My (usually tight and sore) muscles felt so much better afterwards! Definitely recommended.

Owner's reply
Thank you, Anna! It was a pleasure to work with you as a person who is professionally dedicated to the sport of cycling. It was very interesting to see how your needs of recovery arising from non-stop physical activity are fundamentally different from other athletes. I wish you a speedy recovery and a fast comeback to what you love the most - cycling. 🫶

After completing my sprint triathlon, I visited Intune Studio and it was such a rejuvenating experience after an intense race. The recovery massage session helped my body relax and significantly relieved both my knee and neck pain. The atmosphere was calming, and the care was professional throughout. Highly recommended for athletes or anyone needing recovery and relaxation after physical activity!

Very satisfied with the overall experience. As an athlete both the massage and the space helps me prepare my body and mind for the next race. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is preparing for a race or puts a lot of strain on their body.
